Roll-off dumpster sizes available in Wareham, MA

Volume and weight are two different limits

Every roll-off container has a capacity measured in cubic yards and a separate allowance measured in tons, and the material you are loading decides which of the two stops you first. Household clear-outs, furniture, cardboard and construction offcuts run out of space. Concrete, brick, sand fill, tile, wet soil and wet carpet run out of weight, often with the container barely a third full. Choosing on volume alone is the single most common and most expensive sizing mistake we see.

That is why the biggest box is not simply the safest choice. The 30 yard is a volume container built for bulky light debris, and filling one with rubble is neither legal to lift nor affordable to tip. If your load is dense, the honest answer is usually a 10 yard filled part way. If it is bulky and light, size up. Our full sizing guide works through the maths with real project examples.

  • 10 yard — Concrete, brick, sand fill, tile, a single bathroom strip-out, or anything you would describe as heavy rather than bulky.
  • 15 yard — A two-room remodel, a garage or shed cleanout, a small roof tear-off, or a deck removal.
  • 20 yard — A full roof replacement, a whole-floor renovation, or a three to four bedroom house cleanout.
  • 30 yard — A whole-home gut renovation, a whole-house estate cleanout, coastal-storm debris cleanup after major tree damage, or a carport/shed teardown.

Dumpster size questions

What dumpster sizes can I rent in Wareham?

We run four roll-off sizes: 10, 15, 20 and 30 cubic yards. The 20 yard is the one most projects land on, the 10 yard is the right answer for anything heavy like concrete or paver/sand fill, and the 30 yard is the volume container for bulky light debris and larger cleanouts.

What happens if I pick the wrong size?

If it is too small we can swap it, which costs another haul but is not a disaster. Too large is the more expensive mistake with heavy material, because you hit the tonnage allowance long before the box is full and pay overage on top of a larger base rate. Describe the material on the phone and we will steer you.

How much driveway space does a roll-off need?

Roughly 22 feet of clear run for a 10 yard, 26 for a 15, and 34 for a 20 or 30 — the container length plus room for the truck to work. Add about 10 to 12 feet of width and roughly 23 to 25 feet of overhead clearance for the hoist. Low tree limbs, power lines, and steep or narrow subdivision driveways stop more deliveries than most homeowners expect.

Can I go over the weight allowance?

You can, and it is charged per ton over. That is why we ask what is going in before we quote. Dense material such as concrete, brick, sand fill, tile and rain-soaked soil reaches the limit far sooner than furniture and cardboard, and we would rather size it correctly than surprise you on the invoice.

Do all four sizes fit on a normal Wareham driveway?

The 10, 15 and 20 yard sizes fit almost anywhere. The 30 yard needs a longer straight approach, and on some tighter subdivision streets or HOA-managed cul-de-sacs with no off-street parking they are not always practical. Tell us the address and we will tell you honestly what will fit.
