Residential Dumpster Rental
Driveway-safe roll-off containers for Wareham-area homeowners clearing garages, attics, remodels and cleanouts.
Learn moreOur story
A Cranberry Hwy-based crew running 10 to 30 yard roll-off containers across Wareham and the surrounding Wareham-area towns.

Wareham Dumpster Rental Group runs out of a yard at 2892 Cranberry Hwy in East Wareham, right on the Cranberry Highway corridor at the head of Buzzards Bay. It is a small, owner-run operation sized to run one yard well rather than a fleet spread thin.
The business is run by Dan Fearing, who grew up in town and started the company after more than a decade of hauling and cleanout work around Wareham. He kept running into the same problem — homeowners and contractors stuck with a missed drop-off, a confusing bill, or an answering service two states away that had never seen their street. He built Wareham Dumpster Rental Group to be the opposite: a local number, an honest delivery window, and someone on the phone who knows the difference between a tight lane in Onset and a wide lot out toward Rochester.
We have run out of the Cranberry Hwy yard for more than a decade now, long enough to know which Wareham streets are tight, which driveways slope hard toward the road, which low spots hold water after a coastal storm, and which of the surrounding towns are a quick run and which take real time to reach. Disposal is practically a neighbor — the SEMASS resource-recovery facility and the Wareham transfer station both sit on Cranberry Highway in West Wareham, the same road as our yard. That kind of knowledge does not show up on a website — it shows up in a driver who does not need directions.
By the numbers
Figures are indicative of our current operation.
Every call into Wareham Dumpster Rental Group is answered by someone who works out of the same Cranberry Hwy yard as the trucks — not an answering service two states away reading from a script. Whoever picks up the phone can tell you whether your job needs a fire-district dumpster permit (required for any container six cubic yards or larger), and whether a delivery out toward Plymouth or Onset is realistically a same-day run or a next-day one.
That matters more here than it might elsewhere, because Wareham and its neighboring Wareham-area towns are not interchangeable. A container that is straightforward to place on a wide Wareham lot can be a tighter fit on a shared driveway in Bourne or a sandy grade outside Rochester, and a team that actually drives those roads is what keeps a quoted delivery window honest instead of hopeful.
The container lineup runs from a 10 yard box, small enough for a garage cleanout or a single-room tear-out, up to a 30 yard unit sized for new construction or a full demolition. The honest answer to "what size do I need" almost always comes down to one thing: is the load dense — concrete, brick, roofing shingles, wet plaster — which hits its weight allowance long before it fills the box, or is it bulky and light — furniture, drywall, general household debris — which fills the box long before it gets heavy.
We would rather size a job right on the first call than have a customer pay an overage charge on a container that filled faster than expected, or rent a 30 yard box that sits half empty. Once a load leaves the property, clean metal, concrete and yard debris get routed for recovery rather than the landfill where the local facilities allow it — good practice on its own, and required outright for several material categories under Massachusetts's own statewide waste disposal bans.
Wareham is a town, run by an elected Select Board and open Town Meeting, and it is worth a heads-up on one point before you book: under the Massachusetts Comprehensive Fire Safety Code (527 CMR 1.00), the Town of Wareham requires a permit for any dumpster six cubic yards or larger — whether it sits on your own driveway or on a public way — from the fire district that covers the address, with an exception for a container delivered and removed the same business day. Work that opens the town street or right-of-way also needs a street-opening permit from the town. The seven villages we serve within Wareham — East and West Wareham, Wareham Center, Onset, Point Independence, Weweantic and Swifts Beach — all fall under those same town offices.
The neighboring communities we cover — Marion, Mattapoisett, Bourne (with the village of Buzzards Bay), Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Carver, Plymouth and Middleborough — are each a separate, independent Massachusetts town, run by its own Select Board and its own DPW, not a branch office of Wareham. Plymouth County still has a county government, but it does not issue dumpster or street permits — those are a town and fire-district matter. We tell you which office applies to your address before you book, not after.
Wareham Dumpster Rental Group carries general liability coverage and commercial auto coverage on the trucks that make deliveries and pickups, and we are glad to send proof of insurance to a property manager, general contractor or builder who needs one on file before a container hits their site.
Wareham sits on Buzzards Bay, so the weather that shapes our work is coastal: hurricanes and tropical systems through late summer and fall, nor'easters through the winter, and the wind-driven rain and downed limbs both leave behind. We size containers for the two jobs that follow a bad storm — clearing the debris right after it hits, and the seasonal-rental and second-home turnover that fills driveways with cleanouts every shoulder season.
What we stand on
We would rather size a job right the first time than sell a bigger box or leave you eating an overage fee later.

Yes. The yard is at 2892 Cranberry Hwy in Wareham, Massachusetts, and the team that answers the phone, books the route and drives the truck all works out of that same yard — there is no out-of-state dispatch center in the loop.
We would rather not put an invented number on this page. What we can tell you honestly is that the team has run out of the Cranberry Hwy yard for several years — long enough to know which Wareham streets are tight and which of the surrounding Wareham-area towns take real time to reach.
Yes. We carry general liability coverage and commercial auto coverage on the delivery trucks, and can provide proof of insurance to a property manager, general contractor or builder who needs documentation on file before a container arrives.
Eleven communities total: Wareham itself, plus the neighboring towns of Bourne, Buzzards Bay, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Carver, Plymouth and Middleborough — each its own full town government with its own elected Select Board.
A driver working out of the Cranberry Hwy yard handles both the delivery and the pickup in person — the same small crew that answers the phone is the crew that shows up at your property, not a subcontracted third party.
Service area
We run roll-off containers out of our East Wareham yard on Cranberry Highway across every corner of Wareham and the surrounding Greater Wareham area — all fifteen communities we cover. That means the villages of Wareham itself — Onset, East and West Wareham, Wareham Center, Swifts Beach, Point Independence and Weweantic — plus the neighboring towns of Bourne (including Buzzards Bay), Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Carver, Plymouth and Middleborough. The Wareham villages are usually same-day; the neighboring towns are typically same- or next-day. If your address is not listed, call anyway. We likely still get there.
